| Customer Introduction |

The Museum of World Religions was founded in the belief of Respect, Tolerance, and Love. Since March, 1994, the foundation began to collect the historical relic with religion meaning in order to establish the Museum of World Religions , In 2000, the opening ceremony of the museum was held in Taipei , Taiwan and it occupied approximately 60,000 square feet of exhibition and gallery space. |

It is believed to be the world's first museum solely dedicated to promoting knowledge and understanding of the world's religions such as Buddhism, Taoism, Christianism, Islam, Judaism, Sikhism, etc. In other words, the Museum of World Religions has a timely mission of fostering greater understanding, respect, and tolerance for all the world's religions. |

The customer's demand |

In the beginning, the Museum of World Religions looked for a lot of suppliers to offer the system automation solution in order to avoid operating a complicated system and expected it has an easy way to maintain and good extension flexibility. |

After competing with several system automation suppliers, the Nico Technology Ltd. got the project with offering the LonWorks system. |

How we plan to offer the solution |

The whole museum is roughly divided in three ways for solution as follows: |

1. Air conditioning system: use the products with LonMark verification from the Nico Technology and Johnson Control including DX-9121, 1108L , 1208L , 2108L , 2208L , and 4404L .
2. The entrance security system : The Nico Technology specially customized the security module for the Museum of World Religions
3. Lighting system:
A.General lighting system: Use the Nico Company LonWorks Security module researched and developed by itself and develop the lighting control systems under LNS platform. In order to reduce the requirement of daily lighting operation, we (Nico Company) develop the Scheduling module, in which you may input the data for pre-setting the time to shut the light off, in the lighting control system. As a result, the light will be shut down on schedule automatically through the function Scheduling in the system automation.
B. Lighting system of show area: As we know, the music can mold one's temperament as well as the light can beautify the living environment. Generally speaking, the illuminations of the show area are all static and unchangeable. The Nico company uses the dimmer to adjust the light for controlling the illumination of the show area. It's combined with the AV media in the show area and let the audiences have a true experience of the idea that the museum wants to express. Moreover, the elements of beautiful music and designed peaceful light could purify the visitors mind and help them to release their burden. When people enter the museum, they suddenly feel the light is so peaceful and the music sounds so beautiful just like entering another wonderful world. |

How's the effect after using our proposal? |

In the beginning, the total manpower need for the museum is around 25 people including security guards and equipment maintenance technicians. After the system automation setting up, the total manpower demand is now dropping to about 5 people only. |

Up to now, the system automation of the Museum of World Religions has been extended several times by using the products of LonWorks technology. In fact, the system is continually available to be extended. In addition, it's so easy to obtain the proper products for system extension. |

For their system maintenance technician, the Museum of World Religions Company requests the Nico company to make a training course aperiodically in order to help and train their technician because they obviously experience the flexibility of system extension and the benefit of manpower demand reduction.
